Our story

When social media became widespread, Al-Jarbandi Farmer used it to promote the culture of compost and organic fertilizer production. Following this, a group of generous Sudanese men and women living abroad called for the establishment of a network for the production of compost, fertilizers, and agricultural improvers. This network aims to help farmers in Sudan and gardening enthusiasts in various Sudanese communities learn about and produce these products using sound scientific methods. These products are vital to agriculture because they:

Increase production safely

Improve soil and maintain its fertility

Provide consumers with chemical-free agricultural products

Increase farmers’ income from the same area of land they cultivate

Empower home gardeners to produce enough fruits and vegetables for their families

Contribute to environmental improvement, capacity building, and the establishment of projects to combat poverty. The first Live Compost WhatsApp group was created by Mahjoub Abdelkader Al-Mash’ir at Al-Jarbandi Farmer’s to discuss, study, and practice this topic, and to invite other Sudanese men and women via WhatsApp messages to join these groups to receive practical and theoretical training, study, and exchange knowledge. The experiences and the number of these groups reached hundreds via WhatsApp, and this website was created on the Internet for the same purpose and to continue the same idea.
